The Dalgarno Institute is one of Australia's longest-standing community-based health education charities. As an Alcohol & Other Drug (AOD) Education, Advocacy and Resourcing Coalition, we work to make our communities safer, healthier, and more resilient.

Founded by the Dalgarno Institute with national and international partners, World Resiliency Day promotes building resilience as a key protective factor against alcohol and drug use, particularly among young people.
While we continue to highlight substance harm, we equally emphasise building the proactive, preventative mechanisms that create resilient citizens.
This evidence-based learning series helps parents, teachers, mentors, and coaches develop resilience in young people, specifically focusing on preventing alcohol and drug use through positive skill-building.
